WPTA21: Groundbreaking held for downtown Fort Wayne sculpture honoring late artist’s legacy

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne artist Jody Hemphill Smith passed away in October 2023.

The Fort Wayne community, however, is continuing her legacy as a world-renowned artist.

On Wednesday, the Hemphill Smith Art Foundation broke ground on a sculpture honoring Hemphill Smith and her artwork.
